Again, my name is Jeremy Slatton and I wanted to share what it means for God to do a glorious work in my life. But first lets make this clear, God can do a mighty work in anyones life if they just repent of their sins and work on walking a Holy life set apart from the world. Romans 12:2 says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." The fruit of the spirit only comes when you are truly born again. What is Gods love? Well unfortunately most self proclaiming christians think Gods love means to get together and socialize about the sins they have practiced through the week. This is blasphemy and not at all Gods love. We need to go to the scriptures to understand His love. Psalm 97:10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. This verse shows Gods love displayed by the true christian, as he hates sin or evil. And Gods love is put into action by preserving the souls of His saints. Wow! What an amazing God! Proverbs 3:12 says,"For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." Are you being corrected when you fall short? If not you should question yourself about your salvation and then repent of your sins for fresh start. It's never worth taking a gamble and just hoping you will make it. If your stripping your flesh of sin and obeying all the truths of Gods Word with an upright heart you can have an assurance of salvation. I know I have the joy of the Lord because He lives within me and with His help I am living victorious. Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Gods peace only comes as you are resting in Him. Resting in Jesus means doing what He commands in His Word while fully trusting Him for all that comes your way. Only when you give yourself fully to Him will you have the peace that passess all understanding. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I have had a domino effect where several things are happening to me and I know God wants to break my will so I will trust Him. I am learning to keep my eyes on Him. God has been merciful to me and I owe Him my service. We are to be servants and in order to do that we must be humble. Praise God! I have a godly couple and others who have been a blessing in my life.I appreciate true saints like Bro. Jim and Sis. Deb and others. We are encouraging one another daily and what a glory it is to be in unity. We do not need a big building to praise God. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. My prayer is that I will not turn to the right hand nor to the left and stay on the narrow path and encourage others to join me along the way. May God bless those servants who are serving Him and help those who repent and follow Him.
