Are You on the Narrow Path?

Matthew 7:14

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

We are to walk in all His ways and humbly serve the Lord.

Psalms 119:105

“NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

James 4:8

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

1 John 4:8

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

The narrow path means very few will find it and follow it.

Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Galatians 5:16

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

If you are truly born again you will desire the things of God and even if you were to fall in a certain area because you were not on guard you would have conviction and would repent of it.

Proverbs 24:16

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

This is God's word and this verse proves that a righteous man keeps himself in check by examining his ways daily. It doesn't mean that you couldn't fall back into sin at all, but you would have to quit examining yourself and slowly drift away if you were not keeping on guard. We must believe God's word.
The narrow path means as a born again man or woman you will constantly look for oppurtunities to please the Lord daily, which means you are growing in the Lord and going forward in your christian walk.

2 Peter 3:18

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 4:15 - 4:16

Philippians 1:6

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Praise God for His wonderful love and for giving us a chance to choose to serve Him and have eternal life. Let's strive to walk on that narrow path so we can glorify our Father which art in heaven.

Psalms 86:12

“I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”

Matthew 15 God is Looking for Lost Sheep

Luke 15:7

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

Faithfulness to God Will Help You Overcome Challenges

Samuel 12:24

“Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.”

Hebrews 10:23

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

Job 37:2

“Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.”

Are you attentively hearing God through His word daily?

God's word is powerful, but you must apply it as you seek Him.

Galatians 6:7

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

God is not mocked and if your life does not match the testimony you are claiming then you are none of his.

Hebrews 12:8

“But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.”

If you are living for Jesus and maintaining a Holy testimony then you can count it joy when challenges arise.

James 1:2

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;”

In this verse it talks about temptations and this does apply when you have lots of challenges coming your way you could easily give up your walk with God. It happens many times and requires one to cling to God's word and totally rely on Him.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Proverbs 3:6

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Romans 15:13

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

So if you are a Christian and you are going through tough times remember that God is able to help you overcome losing sight of what He has for you. Stay faithful and watch what God does with your life. I am glad to share this testimony with you all and may God be praised!

Also if you are not a born again Christian read the 5 point gospel at
  https://www.dontperish.com/the-gospel.html

1) Faith... in the finished work of Christ ( fully man, fully God ) and His perfect sacrifice for sins ( John 3:16 )

2) Repentance ... turning from your fallen mind and ways to God's Holy ways.  ( Luke 13:3 )

3) Born again... you must be born of God's spirit to ever see eternal life. In this new life, He gives you a new heart and mind to then serve Him. ( John 3 )

4 ) Holiness with obedience.... if your changed by God you WILL, as fruit, strive to leave all sin, worldliness, carnality and false ways ( like man made religion ) and obey His commands and be holy in all your ways. ( 1 Peter 1:15 / Heb 5:9 / Heb 12:14)

5) Endure in your faith.... You MUST keep clinging to Christ via this saving faith to the end of your life, lest you fall away and have believed in vain. ( Matt 10 and 1 Corinthians 15 )
