Are You on the Narrow Path?

Matthew 7:14

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

We are to walk in all His ways and humbly serve the Lord.

Psalms 119:105

“NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

James 4:8

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

1 John 4:8

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

The narrow path means very few will find it and follow it.

Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Galatians 5:16

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

If you are truly born again you will desire the things of God and even if you were to fall in a certain area because you were not on guard you would have conviction and would repent of it.

Proverbs 24:16

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

This is God's word and this verse proves that a righteous man keeps himself in check by examining his ways daily. It doesn't mean that you couldn't fall back into sin at all, but you would have to quit examining yourself and slowly drift away if you were not keeping on guard. We must believe God's word.
The narrow path means as a born again man or woman you will constantly look for oppurtunities to please the Lord daily, which means you are growing in the Lord and going forward in your christian walk.

2 Peter 3:18

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 4:15 - 4:16

Philippians 1:6

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Praise God for His wonderful love and for giving us a chance to choose to serve Him and have eternal life. Let's strive to walk on that narrow path so we can glorify our Father which art in heaven.

Psalms 86:12

“I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”
