How can politics be sinful? A while back I went to a Trump rally and was anxious to see the president. While there amongst all these people chanting about Trump I found myself pumped up to do the same. Also, while I was there they had rock music blasting. I felt like I was at a rock concert and it fed my flesh even more because rock music was one of my major sins. Also some of the bishops boys were there (LFCF) so they are being exposed to that music as well. I was a bad example for a good friend of mine and his children but I have repented of that. Some time later I felt convicted and realized that politics and voting for an ungodly man was not the answer to christianity. We are not of this world and the world is on its way to hell. This country is in great sin and the only reason people scream about freedom is because they want to practice more sins and want their way, not God's ways. Look at the sinful practices that are now allowed through an ungodly institution such as homosexual marriage and now transgender wickedness. Why would I vote for a corrupt system and think that somehow they are going to turn to God. Matthew 7:14
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
John 17:14-17
14I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
If anything, we should preach the truth of God's word to these people that are mad upon their idols.
Jeremiah 50:38
38A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it isthe land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.
This verse applies to that Trump rally I attended. Those people were screaming and chanting about an ungodly president. Politics is another major distraction in christians lives just like sports. God has commanded christians to go and preach the gospel, not get involved in corrupt politics.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
I have a question for parents out there that are claiming christianity. Don't you think by teaching the children that voting for the lessor of two evils would also teach them that a little sin is ok. Why would we vote for anyone who is sinful? Jesus came to divide from the wickedness of sin. Jesus hates sin and loves righteousness so should'nt we do as He does.
Ezekiel 18:20- The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Galations 6:1 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
Wow! Does this verse ever clear it up about ungodly politics. It is ashamed to even speak about an ungodly political system and even worse these so called christians are promoting and voting for ungodly men to rule over them. We are supposed to pray for our leaders to repent and walk in Gods ways. Sin is sin no matter which person is not as evil. I came out of a religous church system who promote politics on their website and are not fully trusting in God and His ways which is why they have a false gospel. I am happy that my faith is in God and not man. Trusting in man will lead you to an eternal hell. So again, I praise God that He opened my eyes to the truth and I hope anyone reading this that might be into politics will repent and turn to God.
