Ephesians 6:13
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Are you clinging to God's word or trying to make it fit what you want it to believe? The reason most people do this is because if they believed all of the word then they would have too many changes to make. Most people want to obey part of the Word and discard the part that requires going deeper and sacrificing more. Sin is what holds most people back.
John 3:19
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
This scripture proves that God is going to convict us to go deep in the word.
1 Peter 2:2
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
Are you desiring the word or your own agenda? Lay yourself aside and take up your cross and follow Him. This is what true christianity looks like. Clinging to the word of God because you want to obey His truth is what God is looking for.
Luke 13:24
“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”
How is this true? Because what people are seeking is not the full truth. Satan loves to water down the gospel and get people feeling comfortable in their sin.
Luke 22:31
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to haveyou, that he may sift you as wheat:”
This is what satan wants to do to you. Don't let him steal your soul by following man made religion. Follow God's word and not your heart.
Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
I encourage you to examine yourself ad get in line with God.
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
May you cling to His word for the sake of truth and not compromise.

4 ) Holiness with obedience.... if your changed by God you WILL, as fruit, strive to leave all sin, worldliness, carnality and false ways ( like man made religion ) and obey His commands and be holy in all your ways. ( 1 Peter 1:15 / Heb 5:9 / Heb 12:14)
5) Endure in your faith.... You MUST keep clinging to Christ via this saving faith to the end of your life, lest you fall away and have believed in vain. ( Matt 10 and 1 Corinthians 15 )
