Lifting up God's Holy Word

Ephesians 6:10

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

2 Timothy 3:16

13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

What a blessing to lift up God's Holy Word by living for Him and obeying the scriptures. This is the only way to lift up His word. A lot of people are claiming to lift His name up but do not even obey Him in all things.

1 John 3:6

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.”
Is this not clear in the scriptures? Yes it is. We must be born of God's spirit to know Him. And then we must read and obey the scriptures.

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

It's the Word of God that will convict us of sin and guide us in all truth.

Romans 12:2

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
If we read God's word and willfully obey it, our mind (thought process) can be transformed to think on the things of God.

Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
May we lift up God's Holy Word as we walk in faithfulness and obedience to Him. May God be praised!!
