Romans 14:12
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
Are you trapped in man made religion and do you realize you are going to give an account to God and not man. Yes, many people are in this broad road of trusting in a man made system with one man (pastor) ruling over you. Why do most people choose this system? You often hear (This church makes me comfortable) as an excuse to go to a man made system. So by that admission the interpretation is, "We want a church that allows us to please our flesh and where we are not held accountable to one another." So these people are looking for that pastor who is very liberal in his standards so they can do as they please. Now thats only one side of the equation. The other side is a partially conservative group who outwardly looks more godly (at least a little less worldly) but still is liberal when it comes to God's standards. Example: Mennonite men and women who dress slightly better than the world but still are immodest in their clothing. The men don't cover their forms as they should and the women wear little round coverings that don't really cover their hair. What's happening is that people tend to get in their own little system that they justify instead of truly seeking to obey God and His word. The liberal Mennonites are easy to spot with their immodest clothing. And then we have another man made system where they are even more conservative but are trying to build their church at the expense of the gospel and it's truth. These are false teachers who make up their own doctrines (and twist the scriptures to their liking) as they go and try to convince the other less conservative groups that they have the truth and just need a better system. The problem with all these systems is that they are teaching people to rely on their system and not on God. One man ruling over a group of people that really believe God called this man to be in charge of them is poor spiritual discernment on their part. I also chose this system for many years because I was not testing their doctrine and testing myself in the faith with God's word. It's amazing how all these pastors will tell you they have the truth and I even came out of one that claims they are the true church and that salvation depends on their church system and program. One thing is true across the board though with these man made systems....Their all traditions of men and not following the tradition that God gave the apostle Paul for us to follow. Ok, so now your going to say well Paul was a man so whats wrong with man made traditions? The simple answer to that is God instructed Paul with these traditions for us to follow. God is not instructing men today with more traditions than Paul taught. There is a big difference in many men way after Paul who started making their own traditions vs the ones the apostle Paul had laid out.
2 Thessalonians 2:15
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.”
1 Corinthians 11:1 - 11:2
So when these churches use traditions that came much later than what Paul laid out then this is sinful and not of God.
Colossians 2:8
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
This is so clear and concise, but yet christians (or just religious people) look over this by not following what Paul laid out. These people are ignoring God's warning to not follow man made traditions. God knew that false teachers would abound and add to His holy word (which is what man made tradition does) so that's why this verse is here.
Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
Romans 16:18
“For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
If any of you cared to study the word and it's history you would understand that these man made ways are completely false. Even history that doesn't date that far back you could see that these so called men of God really started a lot of these traditions or belief systems (Calvinism, Methodist, Lutherans, Baptist-stemming from protestants in the 1600's and many more false teachers like Joseph Smith who formed Mormons and Charles Russel who created Zions Watch Tower Society that later led to Jehovah's Witnesses (late 1800's) and Charles Finney who was teaching Pelagianism- he denied original sin and insisted that the power of regeneration lies within the sinner's own hands. Finney did not believe that the holy spirit played much of a part in one's salvation but the bible says have no confidence in the flesh.
Philippians 3:3
“For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.”
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
The apostle Paul gave the glory to God and not to his own works.
Also these man made systems try to use James to mean they can be a one man ruling over people. First of all James was the brother of Jesus so of course he was a prominent person who had a position by God. God makes it very clear that elders were appointed to every city and not one man to every city.
Acts 14:23
“And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.”
Did you read this carefully? Elders is plural so every church had elders so one man couldn't make up his own rules. They were held accountable to one another. I know a bishop who would say you should learn to read english so you can understand the bible. Well then he should read this verse and understand it.
So as you can see many of these systems are not following God's ways, but instead other men's systems that were created after what apostle Paul gave us.
So heres the big question....Are these men who came up with their own religious systems way after what the apostle Paul gave us better than what Paul had? Of course not, so this shows the pride of men who want to have the preeminence and who are actually telling God that what He had for us isn't good enough. That is blasphemy and God will judge them.
3 John 1:9
“I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.”
Acts 5:29
“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”
So christians, it's time you obey God and stop following man. God is not a program or a system....He is God and His word is truth and the fact is He wants us to obey Him and not put any person before Him.
John 14:15
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
James 1:22
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
2 Corinthians 2:9
“For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.”
Also don't forget what God tells us and this scripture refutes these man made systems.
Matthew 7:14
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
The fact is there are many so called churches in America (buildings full of dead religious people) but God's word is true. Few there be that really seek after God. May God be praised!!!
The Bible says, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). It also says, "And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account."(Hebrews 4:13).
You see, sin separates us from God and it will lead one to hell not heaven! God's Word is so very clear...."the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23)
First, you will die physically due to sin and then you will be judged and die spiritually in hell eternally without Christ as your Lord and Savior. God will judge all those who are NOT His holy people and send them into outer darkness. We love you and want better for you. So that is the bad news ... God's wrath is hanging over you, due to your sins. But let us rejoice.......we have the GOOD NEWS GOSPEL!!!
Jesus Christ is the Son of God (fully man / fully God) who came to earth to die on the cross for your sins and to defeat death. Because of man’s sinfulness, Christ was sent to the cross (shed His blood for forgiveness of sins) put to death (God's will), buried and then rose again to defeat death! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16He showed us God's Kingdom to come and how to love God. love each other and our neighbor. He alone could over come the world / satan and gain eternal life for those who will seek after Him.
God in His love ( a one time act through Christ ) has made a way for you to be forgiven of your sins and gain eternal life with Him. Please know it is NOT just believing, doing some religion and going to heaven. That is all a lie!!!
In order to find that eternal life per God's Word you MUST have these 5 biblical gospel principles act work in your life:
1) Faith... in the finished work of Christ ( fully man, fully God ) and His perfect sacrifice for sins ( John 3:16 )
2) Repentance ... turning from your fallen mind and ways to God's Holy ways. ( Luke 13:3 )
3) Born again... you must be born of God's spirit to ever see eternal life. In this new life, He gives you a new heart and mind to then serve Him. ( John 3 )
4 ) Holiness with obedience.... if your changed by God you WILL, as fruit, strive to leave all sin, worldliness, carnality and false ways ( like man made religion ) and obey His commands and be holy in all your ways. ( 1 Peter 1:15 / Heb 5:9 / Heb 12:14)
5) Endure in your faith.... You MUST keep clinging to Christ via this saving faith to the end of your life, lest you fall away and have believed in vain. ( Matt 10 and 1 Corinthians 15 )

The gospel is not just a religious action. No, it changes your entire life and you NO LONGER live for yourself but live to serve God alone. Jesus said you MUST worship God in spirit and truth. John 4:24

Those truly in Christ are changed people who live holy (1 Peter 1:15) and no longer conform to this fallen worlds ways. They avoid partaking of the carnal (sinful) culture ( sports, TV, movies, feminism, man made denominational religion etc ) but they will GO and proclaim the gospel into the world and call others out of it.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2)
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)

Christ will return to redeem those who are born of Him (Hebrews 9) per His gospel (His love ) and the rest will be judged and will suffer in hell. ( His wrath ) 2 Thessalonians 1:8
